Safe Kids Pierce County was established in 1997 under the umbrella of Safe Kids Worldwide, an international organization dedicated to reducing accidental injuries to children under the age of 19.  We are a diverse group that works together to succeed in these efforts.  Safe Kids has outlined the injury areas that we focus most on, which include:

– Water safety
– Child passenger safety
– Fire safety
– Pedestrian safety
– Safe sleep

Being a member allows you to access resources, kits, and information to use in your efforts to keeping kids safe.  All are welcome!  We have coalition members from all walks of life, including, but not limited to:

– Firefighters
– Police officers
– Hospital employees

– Car Seat Technicians
– Parents
– Parks & Rec
